An American singer and actress began her career in the Brodway musical 13, before landing the role of cat The show ended after four seasons, and Grande starred in the spinoff, Sam & Cat, which ended in 2014.

Grande's music career began with the soundtrack Music from Victorious in 2011, followed by her debut studio album, Yours Truly in 2013, the album's lead single, "The Way", debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, with critics comparing her wide vocal range of that of Mariah Carey.
Grande's second studio album, My Everything, debuted No. 1 in the US with the lead single "Problem" and several others from that album, she was continuously of the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for 34 Weeks As of January 2017, Grande's music videos had been viewed a total of more than 7 billion times online.

Grande describe herself as "broken" in the hours after the Manchester attacks and has publicly shared over 16 words since a terrorist bombing outside of the Manchester Arena following her performance which claimed the lives of 22 people.

Grande's worldwide Dangerous Woman Tour was suspended after the bombing at her Manchester concert.
